Amidst the Crisis

BASA: Filipino Advocates for Literacy, Health and Livelihood Development is a non-government, non-political organization that aims to advance the society through its progressive programs and objectives. It has been founded by four students that clearly saw the crisis of the Filipino People. Over a round-table discussion, the organization was conceptualize and on March 6, 2009, it gained its credibility by acquiring a DOLE registration.

The Organizations first move on expansion and consolidation was never simple. Old members quit and new members came in, officials malfunctioned and quit, our most trusted friends didn't last and the general membership felt disappointment and almost lost its hope. Most of the ex-members was unable to adopt the sense of voluntarism.

But since the hardcore members never lost its willingness, they never falter, they never let desperation swallow the organizations determination and with firm perseverance, clenched fist amid the ebbs, the organization managed to survive.

The organization is now on a morally agitated mode and is now paving way for his vision to fulfill.
